3rd Grade

What the league offers at 3rd grade, and what to know before you register.

Divisions

CPYBL runs these divisions for 3rd grade girls:

  • Recreational
  • Athletic A
  • Athletic B

Whether Hamilton United enters a team at this grade depends on how many players register.

When games are played

Recreational games at 2nd and 3rd grade are usually played on Sundays, where gym time allows, moving to Saturday only when a host cannot provide a Sunday gym.

Recreational divisions are split into geographic pods to cut down travel, and the club sits in the north pod. A rec team mostly plays the nearby clubs in its pod rather than every team in the division. Athletic and High-Rec have no pods.

  • Athletic registration closes

    3rd–6th grade athletic teams.

  • Rec registration closes

    2nd–6th grade recreational and high-rec.

Dates are tentative until the league confirms them.
